Evangelism/Membership |
Developing a congressional
lifestyle and atmosphere or environment that is welcoming,
inviting, encouraging and empowering. A major factor is
attentiveness to God and to faith development of every person
in the congregation. Serving the community with trust,
generational & ethnic inclusiveness, hospitality with a
positive self image.
Evangelism is the work of
the Holy Spirit.

Nurture Committee |
Our goal is to keep in contact with our
elderly, sick and housebound members and friends. Included
are our college students. This special ministry is
essential to our church.

Communion Stewards |
The first Sunday of each month we celebrate
communion and on special occasions Communion stewards prepare
the elements for this sacrament. This is a service to the
church, congregation, and to our worship our Lord Jesus.

Junior Youth Group |
Junior Youth Group is for
students in grades 1-6. The group is in it's eleventh year
of serving the youth of our congregation.

Junior Youth Cooking Class |
Junior Youth Group is for
students in grades 1-6. Each month we prepare, cook and eat what
the children make during our two-hour class which includes boys
and girls. We learn about love, helping and how to find a
friend in Jesus. The children take turns reciting Pslams
and prayers before or after our meal. We have created a
"family night" including the whole family at least three times a
year. We attempt to bring new families into our
congregation and help encouraging those in our church to attend
service more often.
We held our 7th annual fundraiser "Coats for Kids" and hosted a
spaghetti dinner fundraiser to raise money to purchase coats
and clothing for children in our community. |

Youth Fellowship |
Youth Group is for students
grades 6-12. The group meets on Fridays nights in
Fellowship Hall from 7-9pm. The last Friday of the month
will be live a live music cafe. All are welcome...bring a
friend.
