What to expect...
The fear of not knowing where
to go, where to sit or even when to sit can be just enough to keep you
from entering the doors of a church.
We've all been there. At some point we all had to start with the
unknown. We at MUMC keep that in mind as we welcome visitors.
Our philosophy is that you are
entering our home. As our guest, you'll be guided through the
church, introduced to some great folks and if you're lucky have some home
baked treats. We promise not to put the 'spotlight' on you and make
you feel uncomfortable.
If you are coming to worship
on Sunday- arrive around 15 minutes before the service. Once in the
Narthex (Church lobby) you'll see a "Welcome" banner- please take some of
the literature. Our Sanctuary is upstairs- the doors are on either
side of the Narthex (we don't quiz you on terminology...yet- only
kidding). If you need assistance up the stairs we have a chairlift
that you can use- simply notified a "Greeter" or any member, which you can
identify by their name tags.
Every third Sunday the Praise Band from West Creek UMC plays. This
is a more contemporary service.
Immediately following service
at 8:30am we invite you to join us for coffee or Sunday School.
Coffee is served in our Fellowship Hall- your literature will have a
church map showing you the way. Sunday School meets in the Sanctuary
at 9:45am then ventures down into the classrooms.
Prayer Requests: all are welcome-
simply fill out a card located on the back of the pew in front of where
you are sitting and fill it out.
We hope to see you soon.
